It always felt pleasant to be at Vinyasa… A place stundily loved by nature.. Especially in the arms of Ganga…!! Loved the moment spend there

It’s a nice place and beautiful atmosphere to study and practice yoga under the guidance of experience yoga teachers. I like the practice asana in bank of mother Ganga the holy river. The flow of asana and Ganga water give you a new energy and help you open all level of difficulties excluding body, mind and soul. Miss you all. Love ❤️

It is best school to learn proper yoga and to be a good teacher in future. I wish u get all success in this field.

I have no hesitation in recommending this yoga school above and beyond any others. This will be a long review as I wish to explain why I make such a statement. If you are fortunate enough to choose this school, if you arrive with an open and positive heart, and like our group gain the best and the most from it you will most likely find yourself departing physically and mentally positively improved.
First of all this is a young dynamic team, working as a family group, enjoying their work and putting their maximum effort into the school. Constantly the “team” went beyond the call of duty to ensure all students maximized from their experience at the school. I arrived early and was impressed on the Sunday morning Ajay took me for meditation (on the back of his scooter) some 20 miles down the road for a most unique experience to a cave next to the Ganges. Ajay is a family man with a young child so I truly was grateful for him taking his only day off to make sure I was enjoying my day. Typically on a Sunday the teachers would take us as a group to some amazing temple or beach location for a meditation or just for a picnic.
I was ill when I arrived (bronchitis I brought with me from Europe). The cook (Gaba) took particular care to ensure that I ate the right food. I ended up having to go to the hospital, the team came too! They were all genuinely concerned for my wellbeing. Ajay not only waited in line before I got there but also took care of all the paperwork. They made sure someone was with me to ensure I was alright throughout the visit.
There was a different teacher for all the yoga classes. Yogi made anatomy fun and relevant, going into all the details of the body workings which so many schools leave out. Vicki’ heart felt mantras and meditation were a real awakening at the end of a busy day (a very special and spiritual person!). Ajay in a unique way brought Patanjalli and indian culture to western relativity. We even one day had a local musician group call in and give us a wonderful spontaneous recital. Yash (school owner) and Rajash brought Ashtanga and Vinyassa classes to a high professional standard. It turns out Yash is somewhat of a local celebrity having gained a gold medal in Ashtanga. In addition to their own high standard they always had a helper in the class to show and correct all the asanas. All the classes were professionally executed to allow you to maximize on learning but at the same time given with a great deal of humanity and laughter.
Cleanliness after my last experience (see my other yoga school review) was extremely important to me. I was pleased that there was a daily cleaning programme. The studio floor was swept and washed daily and our rooms cleaned out whenever required. I never realised Indian vegetarian cooking could be so varied. Every day food was prepared fresh and a different dish each day. We asked for more fresh fruit and this was willingly provided. Gaba even gave cooking lessons to some of the students!
Yash showed me his new school which is slightly further out than the present one, which is a good thing as currently the school is in a bit of a noisy location. The new school will open in summer 2017 (not long now). I am sure new yoga studio will have a fantastic view of the Ganges. I truly wish all at Rishikesh Vinyasa Yoga School success and happiness for their future, they do deserve it! It was a privilege and a joy to be studying with them. Thank you!

I did 200 RYC in July 2016!
It was an incredible experience full of emotions an super days in my life)
Everything was amazing during our course.
The teacher’s team is brilliant! They are so helpful, educated and patient. During this course I received all the answers I was looking for! the timetable was planned that we had not much free time, but we liked it, always busy with interesting lessons and practice.
Also It was so comfortable to study in a small group, so each person was under teacher’s attention and care.
the building we stayed at was so cute and cosy, with good A/C and hot water whenever we needed!
It was on the best life experience for me

A true immersion into the self through a 28 days journey of intense practice and dedication. A batch of dedicated & passionate teachers who truly reflect the essence of yoga in everything they do. Yashpal is such a genuine & caring teacher, he never rests till every student is comfortable. He constantly encourages you to set a target for your self and enjoy the journey while achieving it. Rajesh is one of the top notch vinyasa teachers in Rishikesh who makes it hard for you to like other classes apart from his. Ajay is the teacher you would constantly love to attend his classes, he is always wearing a smile & willing to help regardless the concern. He also makes anatomy so much fun with his genuine sense of humor.
Accommodation & food are convenient. The entire staff selflessly serve you with a smile.
Very much recommended to all keen learners.

I spent a month (Feb 2016) at this school participating at the 200-hr Vinyasa/Ashtanga Teacher Training, and I must say it was an amazing experience. The teachers are very professional, know their stuff and are really really helpful and friendly. The accommodation and food were just great, and we also did fun trips on the weekends. It was a small group so we all got enough attention and got to do yoga the right way (finally ;). I learned many interesting things that I’ll definitely use in my future life (not just the asanas, but also breathing and cleansing techniques, meditation and anatomy). I will come back for the follow up training. See you soon guys and thanks again!

I did my 200 Hour Vinayasa-Ashtanga yoga teacher training course at RVYS Oct-2015. It was a great gift to improve my teaching skills and developing myself into a Yoga Instructor. Finally, i got certification and now i have got a job too. Hurry yy. I would surely recommend it to people who wish to join a small group and get personalized attention. Food was awesome, provided accommodation was impressive more than basic. Also i was given chance to experience local sightseeing and a visit to the nearby hill station.

I learnt the most imported knowledge about Astanga vinyasa yoga at the Rishikesh Vinyasa Yoga School and i a very happy to came hare, thank you RVYS and all team!!!
