Child’s Pose. Child’s Pose helps to stretch the hips, thighs, and ankles while reducing stress and fatigue. It gently relaxes the muscles on the front of the body while softly and passively stretching the muscles of the back torso. You enjoy the stretch in your lower back and shoulders. You enjoy the relaxation that comes from lowering your chest to the floor.
You will get quite a bit of hip flexibility, so you can sink deep into the position without much restriction.
